They want to know that lively open debate is encouraged, that they are part of a no-blame culture and that key decisions are not made in private.

Successful teams almost form an autocratic democracy. When the direction and decision has been made, everyone will buy into it and this will enable them to function collectively and create a position of strength and on-going success.
