Focus, Belief and Board Breaks – Six days to a real breakthrough…
Posted by admin on Aug 31, 2011 in Blog, NLP Practitioner, Training Course | 0 commentsHave you ever considered completing a week’s training by breaking a 11” square pine board, using just your state of mind?
No? Well neither did our most recent group of NLP Practitioners …
Frequently you will hear people use the phrases ‘mind over matter’ or ‘state of mind’. This is definitely the case for our budding delegates, all of whom at the beginning of their journey, really didn’t see themselves being able to do the board break just six days later.
Having had an amazing week with an enormous amount of change taking place for everyone – including us the trainers – it seemed only fitting that the guys were able to demonstrate their new found belief and capability and what a better way than a board break? The week had been spent developing a sense of empowerment, belief and true focus on what can be achieved. Many boundaries and barriers had been broken and kicked to the kerb so it stands to reason that this final session would be a symbolic representation of the whole week.
Having worked to integrate conflicting parts, remove limiting beliefs and stack resourceful anchors, this final act became a natural and highly symbolic conclusion. The week ended with each of the delegates having the opportunity to break their boards using focus and energy – just like the proverbial hot knife through butter.
Using a ‘Huna Technique’ called HA breathing, creating pure focus, drive and belief, each delegate stepped forward for their chance to prove something to themselves … and so they did one by one … each person smashed their way through the boards with no strength required at all. It was pure energy and total belief.
How many other training courses leave you feeling this exhilarated?
